Training evening on Evangelism – Who am I to evangelise my
networks? 21st March 7.30pm The St. Mary’s Centre
One of the biggest questions I am asked is who am I to pray for and talk to about Jesus to. Well we will learn that Evangelism does not mean coercion and 78 percent of those who do not attend church said they, would be willing to listen “if someone wanted to tell me what she or he believed about Christianity.” Younger people were even more likely to say they would be willing to listen. The evening will help us think through who we should be talking to. Imagine if every one of our average Sunday congregation of 140 (Benefice) talked to 1 person and say 50% came to faith; that would be church growth.
