Bishops Martyn and Guli invite us to all to this day of fun for all ages in the grounds of Brooksby College near Melton Mowbray on Saturday 9th June. It will include Worship, Prayer and workshops for adults. A wide range of exciting activities, including a bouncy castle and meeting the farm animals for children. A BBQ will be available for all.
The day marks the end of the Rural Commission which has been exploring how the Diocesan Vision for “Shaped by God” comes to life imaginatively in our countryside. Initial findings of the Commission will be presented along with the opportunity to discover more about the many rural gems in the Diocese. The findings include the recognition of what the Dioceses has to learn from rural parishes as well as the need to provide greater support for them.
Come for all or part of the day you wish. For more information, have a word with John Waddington or, for full details, see the programme on www.leicester.anglican.org/eventslist/discovering-rural-gems/ .
