Judgement Falls – Revelation 17. The angel promises to show John the punishment of the great prostitute (v. 1) with whom the kings of the earth committed adultery (v. 2). He identifies her by the name written on her forehead: BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

In Christ – Revelation 14. After an account of the great trials and sufferings which the servants of God had endured, we have now a more pleasant scene opening; the day begins now to dawn.

Revelation 13 – The Beast out of the Sea & The Beast out of the Earth.  John’s use of I saw (vv. 1, 2) marks a return to the first-person narrative style.  He now abruptly reminds us that he is an eyewitness to the events he describes.

Revelation 12 – The Dragon and the Woman. In this chapter we have an account of the contest between the church and antichrist, the seed of the woman and the seed of the serpent.
