It is simple and easy to articulate, the simple truth of the matter is that we need to be a church that is filled with people that are confident, comfortable and the conviction to share our faith.<\/p>\n<p>We will never effectively just grow the church through plans and programmes. We will grow the churches through inviting friends to church and sharing our personal faith with them.<\/p>\n<p>We often don\u2019t share faith because:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lack of Gospel Knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Apathy<\/li>\n<li>Fear<\/li>\n<li>Lack of Compassion<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I call upon every member of the church to, here and now, commit to pray for one friend, neighbour or colleague to come to Christ and to post that name on a note on the fridge or in the study and to pray daily for them. I also call upon every member to find an opportunity to have a God conversation with a friend, neighbour or colleague and invite them to church in the next 6 months.<\/p>\n<p>If we truly believe that God\u2019s word does the work of conversion through the power of his Holy Spirit, we will unabashedly share the simple and unadorned truth of the gospel. A truncated and inadequate gospel will quickly be abandoned and never shared. But a gospel that can save by grace through faith \u2014 apart from works \u2014 as a free gift is believed, treasured, and declared boldly.<\/p>\n<p>If every family brought one person to faith, the church would double in a year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2019 Vision People have asked what our vision is for 2019.
